CNC Surface and Form Grinding Services

With the addition of our Amada Meister V3 production surface and form grinder, WMPI can grind a wide variety of components and shapes with minimal operator attended time. This equipment has a working area of 6.0” x 18.0” (longer parts can be accommodated with multiple setups). We regularly work to tolerances of .0001" in size, shape and flatness. With the ability to program to your CAD model or drawings, we can grind flat or 3-D contours. We also have 2-D and 3-D modeling capabilities available here; our capable designers can assist you. We also design and build any needed grinding or checking fixtures in-house in our state-of-the-art tool room.

Fully proficient in materials such as stainless steel, Inconel, aluminum, brass, bronze, rare metals and carbide, WMPI offers CNC grinding services for such applications as cartridges, cylinders and contoured punches of all varieties.

We pride ourselves on being problem-solvers as well as machinists. Whether the grinding job is for aerospace, heat transfer, agriculture, defense, electronic components, industrial components, off-highway, medical or water filtration, we will work with you to determine the processes you need.
