Bluemound Road Remodel: January 19th

Due to all the new machines and moving around this year, we decided to remodel the front offices of our Bluemound Road location to allow for a better space and overall experience. This transformation has brought a fresh and modern look to our welcoming space. The updated design not only enhances aesthetics but also improves functionality, providing a more comfortable and efficient environment for our visitors and team members.

HAAS VF-5SS Number Two

HAAS VF-5SS Number Two: January 30 th

We added a Haas VF-5SS and 5-axis machining to our toolroom! This machine is the same as the one we added last June, but we included the TR210 55-axis trunnion with this machine, which allows us to do 5-axis machining. This a new capability and we are excited to be able to offer this to our customers to serve them better.

Wisconsin Metal Parts was named as the 2022 Single-Source Strategy Manufacturer of the Year! This award from Wisconsin Manufacturers and Commerce (WMC) celebrates the success of manufacturers in our state and highlights the innovations, philanthropy, commitment to customer satisfaction, technological improvements and quality jobs within this field. Student Tours

Student Tours: March 2nd

We are passionate about inspiring the next generation of innovators and manufacturers. WMP had the privilege of hosting student tours of our Fabrication, Stamping and CNC Departments. It was a fantastic opportunity to showcase the exciting world of metal fabrication and CNC machining to a new generation. Students gained firsthand insights into our cutting-edge processes, technologies, and the skilled craftsmanship behind metal manufacturing.

 

 

Highway Cleanup: April 15th

Wisconsin Metal Parts Employees and their families turned out for our bi-annual cleanup of Bluemound Road. We adopted this segment of highway last spring and are proud to contribute to our community and keep this major highway clean for all who utilize it.

Design2Part Tradeshow

Design2Part Tradeshow: May 18th

We were thrilled to return to Schaumburg Illinois for the Design-2-Part show hosted there. We had a great time meeting both customers and vendors and made some great connections.

 

 

Disability:IN Wisconsin: May 18th

Wisconsin Metal Parts was asked to speak at the Neurodiversity in Manufacturing event this spring. This event put on by Disability:IN Wisconsin highlighted neurodivergent talent, and how manufacturers can accommodate and benefit from bringing this talent into their shops. Corryn Manderfield, our HR Representative, spoke on the topics of accommodation and long-term value that come with welcoming in neurodiverse talent.

WMPI Golf Outing: June 3rd

Wisconsin Metal Parts Employees gathered on the green for a golf scramble tournament in the sun! The Western Lakes Golf Club in Pewaukee was a splendid backdrop for a lovely day of friendly competition.

A long-overdue improvement to our facilities was re-paving and re-striping our parking lots. Our commitment to providing the best experience for our customers and employees led us to invest in this essential upgrade. It not only enhances the overall aesthetics of our facilities, but makes it safer for employees and deliveries to enter and leave.

 

 

New Truck & Runner Van: July 7th

WMP acquired a new Box Truck and Runner Van to enhance and streamline our multi-building operations. This strategic investment is aimed at optimizing our transportation capabilities by ensuring timely and efficient movement of parts and materials across our facilities. MHVI Brat Fry Fundraiser

MHVI Brat Fry Fundraiser: July 18th

This year we hosted our 3rd Annual Brat Fry Fundraiser! We were able to raise a total of $5,760 for the Milwaukee Homeless Veterans Initiative. We had a great time in the sun enjoying good food, playing bags and spending time with our coworkers and friends! Huge thanks to Nettie’s Irish Pub for hosting again.

WMPI Brewers Outing:
September 16th

Wisconsin Metal Parts Employees and their families turned out to watch the Milwaukee Brewers crush the Nationals at our annual outing. We had a lot of fun tailgating and watching the epic grand slam that secured us the win!

WCBA Manufacturing Voices

WCBA Manufacturing Voices: October 25th

Wisconsin Metal Parts President Andy Kolokoski was invited to speak on bringing awareness to manufacturing as a career, especially towards the younger generations. He brought up the student tours we frequently do and highlighted the positive response they elicit from both students and educators. Other leaders on the panel discussed advances in automation, productivity, and how manufacturing connects with the world around us. The panel was a great way to round out 2023’s Manufacturing Month.

We are thrilled to announce that we're in the process of revamping the Wisconsin Metal Parts website, set to launch in Q1 of next year. The redesigned website will feature a fresh, user-friendly interface, providing easier navigation and access to comprehensive information about our services and educational resources.
