These shell casings needed secondary machining in Wisconsin Metal Part’s CNC turning centers. We were faced with a short lead time to qualify and push parts through several machines at one time. We utilized multiple shifts to keep our machines running over 20 hours per day on average. WMP delivered this project on time and also absorbed an additional 6% add-on order. Because of these efforts, our customer met its commitments to ship final product on-time.
