Packaging Industry Takeover

Bag Sealer Assembly in-process

Seamlessly Shifting Suppliers in the Packaging Industry

A packaging manufacturer was facing problems with their current supplier after their management changed. Quality and on-time delivery began to fall short of their expectations, so they turned to Wisconsin Metal Parts to take over manufacturing. At first there was concern about how we would take over the project with no pre-existing direction or instruction, but our team dedicated themselves to the project and set up to watch the process, taking thorough notes and video. We were then able to take some of the component parts back to our shop and manufacture them in-house, saving the customer money and time! We were able to meet and exceed their quality expectations right out of the gate, and stayed consistent with our ERP system. As their place in the medical market is beginning to grow, we are able to ramp up production to handle the extra orders and higher demand. We were able to seamlessly move their project to our facilities, reduce costs and handle the increased demand and unit updates.
