Wisconsin Metal Parts has decades of experience working with clad aluminum and stainless steel components in the heat transfer industry. Our customers come to us because we understand the tolerances and cleanliness specifications that will succeed in the brazing process. From the concept & prototyping stage, all the way through to production, we will work with your engineering team to develop the most cost-effective solutions by providing hard and soft tooling options, gages, fixtures, proto types, samples, production parts and assemblies. We stamp, machine and fabricate components that go into radiators, oil coolers, condensers, chillers and exchangers. We also manufacture parts that contribute to the framework that supports and houses heat transfer units and equipment, managing all needed plating and painting.
WMP supplies heat transfer production parts such as Flat Headers, Round Tube Headers, oil cooler plates, End Plates, End Caps, Tanks, Channels, Blockers, Baffles, Dividers, Flange Plates, Cores, Inlets, Guards, Shrouds, Partitions and Combs.
Our tool room has supported the Heat Transfer Industry by building progressive dies, form dies, draw dies, transfer tooling, compound tooling and single hit tooling. Prototyping is often completed with soft tooling options or using our standard in-house tooling, when possible. Inspection gages, assembly fixtures and brazing fixtures are all designed and built in-house.
We have knowledge working with round tube, square tube and multi-tube headers up to 70mm (3.00”) diameter. We build hard tooling to pierce tube slots, CMM slot inspection fixtures and replacement slot punch components that are repeatable within 0.0051mm (.0002”). Our vertical CNC machining operates up to 5-axis and our horizontal sub-spindle turning works up to 10-axis. We also have 4 WEDM Machines ready to produce tooling and parts. Wisconsin Metal Parts is ISO 9001:2015 and ITAR certified. Cyber security is approved to NIST SP800-171 so your export restricted (ITAR) files are always secure.
