2025 Year In Review

Bowling Outing: January 25th

WMP started the year off with a winter bowling outing at Alpine Lanes. Team members and their families enjoyed a fun day of bowling, hearty competition and good food.

Design2Part: May 7th

This spring, part of our sales team drove down to the Design2Part show in Schaumburg IL. It was a great opportunity to network and share our services and knowledge with other manufacturers and vendors in the Midwest, and we look forward to returning in 2026!

Golf Outing: June 4th

WMP employees turned out at the Wanaki Golf Course for a scramble tournament in the sunshine! The spirited competition culminated in a celebration in the clubhouse with barbeque and drinks.

Vertical Tilt Band Saw: June 19th

We decided to upgrade our metal cutter to the Amada Tilt-Frame Table Saw. This piece of equipment brings new levels of efficiency and versatility to our cutting operations and will allow us to serve our fabrication customers better.

Top Workplaces Award: July 9th

Wisconsin Metal Parts is honored to receive the Journal Sentinel’s Top Workplaces award for the 12th year running. This award is a testament to the amazing team here at WMP that make coming to work a positive and purposeful experience.

Robotic Welder: July 24th

This summer we added an OTC Daihen Robotic Welder to our Fabrication shop! This exciting tool has allowed us to streamline production for one of our largest customers, and to stay at the forefront of new manufacturing technology and advances.

Wrike Elite 100: August 8th

We are thrilled to be mentioned in the 2025 Wrike Elite 100. This award celebrates the top Wrike customers driving efficiency and transformation with work management. It recognizes our commitment to innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement. We are proud to be among them.

Range Outing: August 30th

Employees gathered at the Fletchers Arms Range for a day of recreational shooting and team bonding.

FabTech: September 1st

WMP was excited to attend FabTech’s return to Chicago this fall to exhibit at the show! Our team had a great time seeing both new and familiar faces and sharing our capabilities with a wider audience.

Komatsu Upgrades: September 10th

We made serious upgrades to our largest stamping press, the 200-ton Komatsu. We improved the software, control panel, and a handful of electronic components in the press to upgrade this unit to serve our customers efficiently and help our team operate safely.

MHVI Fundraiser: September 27th

As summer came to a close we hosted our 5th Annual fundraiser and were able to raise nearly $6,200 for the Milwaukee Homeless Veterans Initiative. WMP members and their families gathered in the sun for food, drinks, a cornhole tournament and 50/50 raffle!

Cutoff Saw Upgrade: November 11th

After 30 years of use, we decided to invest in replacing our cutoff saw after having consistent issues with the blade coming off of the wheel and drives. We replaced our old saw with a Wells W-9-1, and this new unit has been working hard to support our CNC and Stamping departments.

Bobcat Forklift: November 17th

One of our last equipment upgrades for the year was a new Bobcat forklift for our Fabrication shop! This new model has increased lifting capacity and new safety features to help our team work more efficiently.

Laser Welder: December 30th

To wrap up the year, we added a new welding method to our fab department again with an IPG LightWeld XR2000 Laser Welder! Laser welding is different from traditional ARC methods, and allows for faster production, higher precision and can handle a wider range of metals.
