Merging with SOLV Metals: January 1st

On January 1st, Wisconsin Metal Parts was purchased by SOLV Metals, a PE firm from Indiana that invests in manufacturers in the Midwest. This partnership will strengthen Wisconsin Metal Parts’ position in the industry and allow us to serve our customers better.

Manufacturer of the Year Awards: February 22nd 

The Wisconsin Metal Parts and Solv team turned out in their finest to attend the Manufacturer of the Year Awards. WMP was nominated for the Manufacturer of the Year award in the Medium category. Despite not receiving the award, it was an exciting night to celebrate the best Wisconsin Manufacturing has to offer.

Student Tours: March 21st

High Schoolers in the Schools2Skills program bused over to our Bluemound location to learn more about working in the trades after high school, the opportunities manufacturing offers and to get a firsthand look into what a machine shop looks like.

Bowling Outing: March 28th

Wisconsin Metal Parts employees gathered at the Sunset Bowl in Waukesha for the 1st annual Bowling outing. We enjoyed snacks and lunch while showing off our bowling skills.

Highway Cleanup: April 27th

Our team took to the streets for our annual Highway cleanup this April! Wisconsin Metal Parts adopted a segment of Bluemound road and we are proud to gather each year to dedicate time to keeping our community clean.

Design2Part Tradeshow: May 8th

This spring, part of our sales team drove down to the Design2Part show in Schaumburg IL. It was a great opportunity to network and share our services and knowledge with other manufacturers and vendors in the Midwest, and we look forward to returning in 2025!

Manager Cookout: May 28th 

This summer our management team organized a cookout for WMP employees! Our president and general manager manned the grills to serve up chicken and burgers for the team to enjoy. Everyone enjoyed the sunny day and delicious food!

WMPI Golf Outing: June 1st

Despite the rainy weather, WMP employees turned out at the Brookfield Hills Golf course for a friendly golf scramble competition completed by drinks and prizes in the damp clubhouse!

Top Workplaces Award: June 8th 

Wisconsin Metal Parts is honored to receive the Journal Sentinel’s Top Workplaces award for the 11th year running. This award is a testament to the amazing team here at WMP that make coming to work a positive and purposeful experience.

New Website Launch: June 17th

After much planning and effort, Wisconsin Metal Parts launched their new website in June. With a sleeker, updated look, this new site places more emphasis on our videos and offers even more information on how Wisconsin Metal Parts can serve you!

MHVI Brat Fry Fundraiser: July 18th

This year we hosted our 4th Annual Brat Fry Fundraiser and were able to raise nearly $4,000 for the Milwaukee Homeless Veterans Initiative. After serving up brats, WMP members and their families gathered for a cornhole tournament and 50/50 raffle!

Building Painting: August 1st

During a stretch of good weather, we decided to give our Bluemound location a facelift to match our Pilot Ct location! We washed and repainted the building and added a bold sign to give it a new modern look.

WMPI Brewers Outing: August 10th

Wisconsin Metal Parts employees gathered to watch the Brewers defeat the Cincinnati Reds with an electric home run! The group met up for a tailgate ahead of time and enjoyed brats, burgers and other treats before heading into the stadium.

WMP Gun Outing: September 14th

Employees gathered at the Fletchers Arms Range for a bit of recreational shooting and team bonding.

Student Tours: November 14th

Waukesha South High School students came by for a tour of our Fabrication building to learn more about manufacturing and working in the trades.

MHS Welding: December 20th

Some of our Welding team went over to Mukwonago High School to check out their welding program. We had the opportunity to speak to a group of students and see their welding lab, as well as some impromptu welding demonstrations and evaluations. It was great to meet with the students and show them some different welding techniques.

New Machines: December

We added two new machines to our Pilot Ct building, a Haeger 824 OneTouch-5e 2 Bowl PEM Machine and a Apex 2052M-DSSDc Deburring Machine. Both of these units will make it more efficient for us to output parts and serve you better.
