Sheet Metal Fabricating

Wisconsin Metal Parts, Inc. is your source for sheet metal fabricating. We produce parts as basic as punched blanks to fully assembled enclosures. Materials including aluminum, brass, copper, mild steel, stainless steel and titanium in thicknesses from .006″ to 1/4″ are common to us. Our company was founded in 1988 as a tool and die shop and that frame of mind remains evident in every service we provide. You will appreciate the toolmaker precision that goes into our fabrications. This background has brought us an understanding of the behavior of metal which helps us handle the difficult – parts, fabrications and entire assemblies.

The heart of Wisconsin Metal Parts, Inc.’s sheet metal fabricating department is a Trumpf TruPunch. A TruPunch is not a turret press. It is much more. Our TruPunch’s capabilities include

TruPunch

  • a punching head that can rotate 360° to any angle. This means fewer tools needed, fewer tool changes necessary, reduced run time, reduced cost and increased quality.
  • the ability to handle sheet stock to .250″ x 48″ x 120″.
  • the capability of 600 punching strokes per minute.
  • the MultiTool which integrates up to 10 tools. This means more processing steps per tool change, reduced run time and reduced cost.
  • the MultiShear which can cut edges that are virtually indistinguishable from laser cut edges at a significantly reduced cost.

MultiTool

A part that fits the right conditions can be cut, pierced, extruded, embossed, etched, formed (both up and down), sheared, tapped and deburred in the same set up! This means reduced run time, reduced cost and quicker delivery. Remember . . . every time we reduce cost, you save money!
